This year, Camping Park Umag was recognised as the most requested camp in Croatia for the second year according to the most requested camp list by ADAC portal Pincamp.de.
The same reputable list sees Park Umag in the second place in Europe according to visitor interest.
ADAC Superplatz 2024 —Camping Park Umag
In addition, Camping Park Umag was awarded the highest German camping quality award, the ADAC Superplatz 2024. This is a traditional annual award by the largest European automobile club with over 18 million members.
The other eight Istra Camping camps—Camping Bijela Uvala, Camping Zelena Laguna, Camping Ulika, Camping Puntica, Camping Kanegra, Camping Savudrija, Camping Finida and Camping Stella Maris—were awarded the ADAC TIPP for 2024.
These recognitions by ADAC have once again established the Istra Camping camps in Umag and Poreč as popular and modern destinations offering all the necessary infrastructure and top-notch camping services, good fun, beautiful pools and beaches, cosy restaurants and interesting activities for the whole family. This is the result of continuous investments Plava Laguna makes to raise the quality of the Istra Camping camps. Over the last couple of years, the Park Umag camp was updated with the new Canova pool complex, additional accommodation zones with pitches, mobile homes and glamping tents, and a newly managed Canova beach. Investments in the Poreč camps are also made every year, aimed at increasing accommodation capacities, maintaining pools and beaches, as well as updating facilities such as sanitary facilities, children's playgrounds, animation clubs and sport infrastructure.
Significant investments were made in the digitalisation of business processes, such as online check-in, self check-in and the mGuest app, providing a simpler and more relaxed stay for all our guests.
