Sea Star Festival

A wave of stars for Sea Star 2018: Umag to host Hurts, Robin Schulz, and…

Last year’s premiere edition of Sea Star Festival, the new Croatian star in the EXIT regional family, surpassed all expectations and drew more than 50,000 people to Stella Maris Resort in Umag.

This summer’s festival is looking to be even hotter than the last, judging by the record speed with which the first contingent of 5,000 tickets sold out after the announcement of the dates of this year’s Sea Star, from 24 to 27 May.

The wave of stars at this year’s festival will be led by one of today’s best live bands, British duo Hurts, creators of mega-hits like “Wonderful Life”, “Miracle” and “Stay”. Alongside them will be German DJ and producer Robin Schulz, who has been rocking festival headliner stages throughout Europe with the danceable rhythms of his hits “Prayer in C”, “Sun Goes Down” and “OK”.

The list of festival headliners continues with energetic London trio Disciples and infectious French hit-makers Ofenbach!

The party will be spiced up with rap and hip-hop beats from a world-class line-up led by Zagreb greats Tram 11, followed by Edo Maajka, Sajsi MC, Krešo Bengalka, and Dalmatia’s much-loved Dječaci.

Expect more festival line-up news soon!

Let’s not forget to mention that Umag’s Sea Star Festival was voted among the top ten in the Best New Festival category of the European Festival Awards, with more than 350 festivals from 35 countries across Europe in the running. This recognition came after Umag won the award for Best New Festival in Croatia.
