Istria Winter Cup, Umag - Novigrad
The second edition of the football tournament, Istria Winter Cup, will be held in Novigrad and Umag on 9 – 12 February.
Premier league teams from many countries have confirmed their participation, thanks to the reputation of this tournament that has been distinguished by quality and achievements from its very start. Its trump-cards are top quality accommodations and sports grounds, a favourable climate, quality food and many other services geared to athletes.
Group matches are scheduled over a 3-day period in Novigrad and Umag, while the Sunday Finals will be held in Novigrad. Since the tournament is held during winter preparations, it is an ideal opportunity for teams to test their strengths.

Tennis jubilee - the Istrian Riviera celebrates its 40th birthday
This March in Umag, the Istrian Riviera, an ITF Futures tournament will be gathering 120 senior players from 12 countries. The matches will be played between 10 and 18 March on the central field of the Stella Maris sports/tourist complex, with a 10 thousand Dollar prize fund.
The Men's Tennis Tournament is just one of several taking place each year in the towns on the western Istrian coast under the common name of Istrian Riviera. The tournament cycle started in 1972, in Umag exactly, and now it is returning to the town of its origin, after four whole decades of successful organisation and competition.

9th Istrian Spring
Organized by BK "Meridiana - Kamen Pazin" from Pazin, the international stage race through Istria, "Istrian Spring" this year, from the 15th to 18th of March, will experience its nineth edition.
Superior bycicle riders from Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Poland, Australia, Canada, Nigeria and many other countries are competing for World Cup points in several challenging stages.

Perin Memorial Junior Tournament
Shortly after the end of the Istrian Riviera, Umag will host another great tennis event, the 28th ITF Perin Memorial tournament - Grade 1.
At this tournament, tennis players under 18 will test their strengths from 18 to 25 March in the attractive ATP Stella Maris complex in Umag. Around 260 young contestants from no less than 17 countries are expected to stay in Croatia's westernmost town.

ITF GMP CUP Umag
ITF GMP CUP Umag, a big open championship for veterans, will be held in the westernmost Croatian town from 21st till 27th May.
This is an elite tournament of the so called grade 1, gathering 380 male and female players from 24 countries. The contests will be organized in several age-categories and the brilliant moves of tennis veterans will fire up the attractive courts of the tourist town of Umag.

Istraturist Trophy Cycling Race
The popular cycling race Istraturist Trophy (Trofej Istraturist), 8th so far, will take place in the attractive landscape of Umag and its surroundings from 23 to 25 March. The race in question is a stage road race, composed of several shorter tracks. It is of international character and open to several categories.
The Istraturist Trophy will be taking place during the preparations for the main competition season, making it the perfect opportunity for native and foreign clubs to meet head-on with various opponents and test if they are keeping themselves in shape.

CEV Beach Volleyball Satellite Umag
This year, Umag will host the best European male teams at the beach volleyball tournament CEV Satellite Umag, to take place in the well-known tourist resort of Stella Maris on June 13-17.

UNICEF Humanitarian golf tournament
On June 15, the first Istrian professional golf course "Adriatic", situated in Savudrija, will be the meeting place of numerous golf players gathering at the third in a row UNICEF's humanitarian golf tournament, the proceeds of which will be used to improve the life of children in Croatia.
Once again the tournament will be hosted by the basketball legend and the most famous Croatian amateur golf player Toni Kukoč, one of the most successful sportsmen of all time, who every team will have an opportunity to play the 18th hole with.

Vegeta Croatia Open Umag, ATP Stadion, Stella Maris, Umag
Held in Umag for more than 20 years, the Summer ATP Tournament is the climax of the tourist season in north-western Istria, and is one of the most important sports and social events in Croatia.
The town is then host to world-ranking tennis players, while the cream of society, journalists and reporters, sports experts and tennis aficionados spend time in and around the luxurious tennis complex Stella Maris.
